z/OS, Time Sharing Option, Data Domain, Dell EMC DLm8500 systems,
ISPF, InsightIQ, technical writing and Ansible playbooks.
Position Description:
Lead efforts in developing new strategies for operational
efficiencies.
Work with applications teams and stakeholders as the platform
technical lead
Work with highly experienced and technical resource
Assist technical leads in implementing systems and software
updates.
Document processes, procedures and configurations
Perform daily operations support functions, including problem
isolation and resolution.
Provide status updates of task and project updates.
Provide system administration supportTroubleshoot platform and
application issues.
All other duties as assigned or directed
Skills Requirements:
Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications)
7 years of experience or more as a Mainframe Storage Engineer.
7 years of experience with problem monitoring and engineering
problem resolutions on virtual tape architectures.
5 years of experience with Dell/EMC, VSM, VLE and ZFS Virtual tape
Libraries.
5 years of experience with IBM Job Control Language (JCL).
4 years of experience with CA-1 Tape Management System (TMS) and CA
Vantage.
4 years of experience supporting Disaster Recovery planning,
testing, monitoring and restoration for virtual tape storage
systems
3 years of experience designing and building Storage Management
System (SMS).
2 years of experience using Data Domain Management Center
(DDMC)
2 years of experience using Time Sharing Option (TSO) on mainframe
systems
2 years of experience with Interactive System Productivity Facility
(ISPF).
Expertise in the Linux command-line environment
*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Lakewood,
CO 5 days a week.

practices in technical writing.
Ability to gather process requirements to automate into Ansible
playbooks

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following
experience or skills:
Demonstrated experience growing, maintaining, problem monitoring
and engineer problem resolutions on virtual tape architectures.
Experience with Cyber Recovery on virtual tape systems
Demonstrated experience designing, installing, configuring,
provisioning, and deploying storage hardware used in a multi-node
storage architecture.
Experience developing best practice project plans, engineering
scripts, and documentation needed to migrate workloads to virtual
tape.
Prior Federal government experience
Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts and isn't
afraid to volunteer in a dynamic work environment
Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively
across multiple priorities
