Working together, let's put our time and talents together to advance human health for tomorrow.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Global Technical Support Engineer is responsible for supporting field personal needing assistance, owning escalated customer issues and driving improvements to product through engineering sustainment efforts.This position reports to the Senior Manager Technical Support and is part of the Global Technical Support Team located in Loveland, CO and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Answer service support hotline calls on first attempt 90% of time
  • Lead customer escalations with an expected closure rate within 21 calendar days
    • Acquire expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and develop applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis
      • Drive resolution of field reported problems through analysis and root cause investigations to implement and sustain effective countermeasures.
        • Perform in house repair procedures and safely maintain lab and storage spaces. The essential requirements of the job include:
          • Bachelors degree in engineering or relevant field OR equivalent years of experience
            • 5+ years' relevant experience in a biotechnology or medical device organization
              • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
                • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
                  • This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
                    • Cell counters, bioreactors and particle size analyzers

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
