Job Description:
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) drives the technical
strategy and execution of Synchronicity in the Member Operations
suite, and the Provider Directories solution within the Member
Communications suite. As a pivotal liaison between business and IT,
the TPM collaborates closely with development and engineering teams
to shape features, functionality, and architecture. Leveraging deep
technical expertise, they guide sales, marketing, and leadership on
client specifications, go-to-market plans, and competitive
positioning. The TPM ensures scalable, secure, and cloud-based
solutions by overseeing requirements, testing, and third-party
integrations (e.g., APIs, technology partnerships), directly
impacting product stability and growth.Utilization 100%: 60%
Product Leadership (Technical vision, leading SDLC process), 25%
Operational Support (Tier 2 support and dev escalation), 15% Market
Enablement (demos, RFP's, presentations)Essential Functions -
Translate customer and internal needs into clear, actionable
requirements by engaging clients, business teams, and
implementation/support staff. - Partner with developers, engineers,
architects, QA, and operations to document requirements, align
implementation with expectations, and manage the product backlog
within the SDLC. - Research industry trends and competitors,
recommending high-value features or technologies to enhance
Synchronicity and Member Communications. - Support sales and
marketing with technical content, client demos, RFPs/RFIs, and
FAQs; deliver internal product training. - Act as a Level 2 support
resource, answering technical queries and escalating
bugs/enhancements to development as needed. - Mitigate technical
risks, ensuring security, scalability, and performance align with
HiTrust/SOC2 standards. - Champion the product as a technical SME
to internal teams, clients, and the developer community;
coordinating beta programs where necessary. - Oversee user stories,
business requirements, and release notes; lead internal UAT and
assist Account Managers with client UAT.Competencies - Advanced
technical and product expertise in SaaS platforms. - Exceptional
verbal and written communication, bridging technical and business
audiences. - Proven ability to resolve complex issues through
research and problem-solving. - Strong presentation and training
skills for diverse stakeholders.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis
position does not have supervisory responsibilities but may assign
and monitor work and provide support as the department subject
matter expert.Required Education and ExperienceEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent
experienceExperience - Minimum of eight years of relevant
professional experience, preferably in a managed care plan or
health care related enterprise. - Comprehensive knowledge of CMS
programs, processes and regulations.Preferred Education and
ExperienceExperience: Six years' direct experience with Medicare
Managed Care plans and a demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of
