of an experienced Material Expediter to join the Antarctic Support
Contract (ASC) team. The Material Expediter will work full time in
office at the ASC Headquarters in Centennial, CO. This role will be
responsible for staffing the shipping and receiving area at the ASC
headquarters, to include the timely receipt, processing, and
accurate documentation of all purchased materials destined for ASC
headquarters or onward movement to one of the United States
Antarctic Program (USAP) stations or research vessels (RV), as well
as the return of retrograde cargo. This role is also responsible
for accurate data entry to electronically receive United States
Antarctica Program (USAP) material/cargo, producing shipping
documentation required to introduce cargo into the USAP
Transportation system. Assist with processing and filing open
purchase orders daily. Accurate entry of dimensions and weight in
order to create the final barcode for cargo moving in the
transportation system by various modes. Accurate data entry of
shipping numbers loaded in containers for commercial/military
vessel movement. The expected pay range for this position is $27 -
$29 an hour. Per contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to
start date. Failure to meet these requirements will result in
withdrawal of employment offer or other employment action. About
the Antarctic Support Contract: Leidos Antarctic Support Contract
(ASC) is the prime contractor to the National Science Foundation
(NSF) in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP).
Leidos supports the NSF's Office of Polar Program's Antarctic
Infrastructure and Logistics by aligning with their Mission and
Vision Statements: * Vision: - Expanding our scientific reach in
Antarctica through increased operational and logistical
effectiveness. * Mission: - To provide the operational and
logistical platform necessary for the U.S. to conduct world-class
science in Antarctica and maintain its active and influential
presence on the continent. Leidos ASC provides science and
logistics support for approximately 150 science and technical
events across three geographically remote research stations;
McMurdo Station, Palmer Station, and South Pole Station and several
deep field sites across Antarctica. Each station or field site
supports world class research across multiple science disciplines.

today! Your Main Objective: * Coordinate shipping and receiving of
inbound and outbound materials/cargo from various
customers/suppliers and locations in a timely manner. * Verify
contents of inbound shipments against Purchase Orders (PO) and
commercial shipping invoices/packing slips to ensure the correct
material/cargo delivered matches the material/cargo requested. *
Responsible for accurate data entry into Maximo to electronically
receive PO material/cargo. * Identify receiving discrepancies and
notify the material planner, update documentation and material with
correct information in order to continue receiving process, and
maintain a log of all discrepancies and their current status. *
Maintain an electronic receiving log of all purchase orders. *
Process open purchase orders daily and file once completed. *
Process and sort incoming mail. * Validate outbound shipments
against Proformas and generate proper documentation. * Work with
document control representative to ensure international shipments
are in compliance. * Properly package outbound materials based on
commodity and carrier restrictions. * Accurately enter shipping
details in Maximo to introduce USAP cargo into the transportation
system, and generate barcode labels for onward movement. * Ensure
cargo tracking system is accurately updated and cargo is staged for
commercial transport. * Procure and maintain inventory of shipping
supplies. * Update and maintain various daily/weekly reports. *
Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to assist in
promoting a culture of safety awareness. * Performs other duties as
required. What Sets You Apart: * High school diploma or the
equivalent. * Minimum of three to four years of diversified
experience in a warehousing environment including experience
shipping and receiving freight; experience in the transportation or
supply industry, or hazardous materials handling is a plus. * 2+
years working in an office setting. * Proficient in maintaining a
strong attention to detail, entering data in record keeping or data
producing systems, manual record keeping, and typing. *
Intermediate proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite including
Outlook, Word, and Excel. The expected pay range for this position
