Description Senior Corporate Accountant - -Purpose and
Scope/General Summary: Pilgrim's is searching for a Senior
Corporate Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting/Financial
Reporting team at our headquarters in Greeley, Colorado.
-Responsibilities:Preparation and review of SEC filings on Forms
10-Q and K including financial statements and disclosures in
accordance with GAAP and SEC requirementsPreparation and review of
corporate journal entries and account reconciliations in a large,
complex and fast-paced organization (intercompany transactions,
IFRS-to-GAAP adjustments, purchase accounting adjustments, pension,
etc.)Month-end ledger closing process - coordinating with global
business partners to consolidate and close books timely and
accuratelyData accumulation/analysis of balance sheet and income
statement accounts to ensure timely financial reportingReview
subsidiary trial balances and other financial reporting schedules
and consolidate with parentAssist with documentation and analysis
for quarterly reviews and auditsMentor and assist with training of
other Corporate AccountantsDesign and develop ad hoc reporting for
management, finance leadership, and other business partnersOther
duties as assigned -Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required,
Accounting major preferredMinimum 5+ years of experience from
either public accounting (audit) or industry in corporate
settingExcellent written and verbal communication skills to
interact with various levels of management (plant personnel,
corporate, executive management, investment banking community,
brokers, treasury, etc.) and external auditorsGeneral ledger
knowledge in consolidation accounting including eliminations and
foreign currency translationSAP experience a plusStrong US GAAP
reporting knowledge, including financial statement preparation and
reviewIFRS reporting knowledge a plusExcellent time management
skillsAdequately skilled in MS Excel (i.e. ability to create
complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and ad hoc report building
with data from various systemsQuick learner and able to complete
responsibilities independently with high degree of accuracyCan
perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable

fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation
and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin
after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation,
and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after
the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $90,000-$100,000; andIncentive Pay: This
position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus
plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard
terms and conditions of the incentive program; -For individuals

to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given
position, compensation ranges are specific to those states and
takes into account various factors that are considered in making
compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate's
relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and
