Job Description:

A Northern Colorado leading organization is currently seeking Machinist pursuing an awesome career path.

Responsiblities:

Machinist are responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining machines within a manufacturing industrial setting. This is a high level supervised position with limited tolerance. Looking for past CNC machine experience and tool making.

-Perform routed operations of precision close tolerance parts

•Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference plans, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

•Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting too registers, offsets, compensations, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.

-Work with instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to operate and inspect machined parts

-Use various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to the engineering specifications and standards

Knowledge/Skills:

-Ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drwaings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate tools, and next steps in the production process

-Ability to use micrometers, functional and cylindrical guages, comparators, calibration and scales

-G-Code and M-Code

-May set up CNC Computer Numerical Controlled machinery

-Monitor and maintain the condition of cutting tools

-Follow all departmental safety rules and regulations
