Job Description:
A company is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist to
oversee and manage the leave of absence process and coordinate
support for workers' compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve/deny leave cases based on medical information
while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and privacy guidelines
Administer leave requests, determine eligibility, maintain accurate
leave files, and communicate updates to managers and employees
Maintain knowledge of federal and state leave laws, assist in
training programs, and propose revisions to internal documents for
compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a
related field preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in benefits administration or
related fields required
Experience with short-term disability and FMLA claim processes is a
plus
Certified Leave Management Specialist designation preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple
tasks effectively
