Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payment Specialist (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all ERA and EFTs are set up appropriately for each
practice
Post daily explanation of benefits and patient payments to patient
accounts
Review and correct patient accounts to ensure satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in accounting, business, or medical billing
certificate; High School Diploma acceptable with relevant
experience
Minimum 1-year specialized experience with medical billing
certificate or 2-3 years without
Experience with medical software programs; NextGen experience is a
plus
Knowledge of office procedures and machines
Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a
computer
