Join our team to be part of a supportive, safety-focused, and high-energy environment.Job Responsibilities:As an Operator Assistant, you will:Collaborate with the Machine Operator to perform efficient machine set-ups and changeovers, including removing and replacing tooling rolls, cut-off dies, punch dies, and table spacers.Accumulate finished products as they exit the machine and stack them safely onto pallets.Accurately measure slit coil widths for proper identification and weight calculations.Assist in measuring tooling roll spacers and knives to support precise machine setup.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring debris is promptly removed.Safely operate chop saws, radial arm saws, and metal cut-off saws to cut materials to custom lengths.Support basic daily maintenance of machines, such as oiling, greasing, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.Utilize hand tools and equipment such as screw guns, shop vacuums, hammers, pressurized air, and spray bottles to perform tasks efficiently.What We're Looking For:At least 1 year of experience in heavy assembly and strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read a tape measure and apply it to measure product dimensions for quality control.A dependable vehicle for commuting (no public transportation access).Why You'll Love It Here:Competitive hourly pay starting at $19.22/hour, with a $1.50 shift differential for night shifts.Overtime opportunities for extra earning potential.Stable work schedule:Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (overtime starts at 3:00 AM; occasional Saturdays).Night Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:45 PM (overtime goes until midnight; occasional Saturdays).Monday through Friday schedule, so your weekends are mostly free!A chance to build your skills, grow your career, and be part of a team that values safety, precision, and teamwork.Take the Next Step in Your Career!#talroo
