Job Description & RequirementsSpeech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - School - (SLPA - School)StartDate: 8/11/2025 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1666.72 - $1826.30AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Denver, Colorado to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. SLPA clinicians must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment while working in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities for this role include providing direct therapy services to students under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP. Other responsibilities might include co-therapy with supervising SLP, student observations, gathering assessment and therapy materials, gathering IEP paperwork, tracking data, and reporting observations and data to supervising SLP. SLPA is responsible for understanding state supervision requirements and coordinating and meeting with supervising SLP to ensure compliance with all regulations. SLPA will not complete formal evaluations, write IEPs, or otherwise act in place of a licensed SLP.Required QualificationsSpeech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School Experience: New Grad Accepted Full-Time Hours, Monday-FridayBachelors in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or obtain a certificate (or has met educational requirements for position in state of practice)Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by state of practice.Clear, articulate communication skillsCompletion of a criminal record and background checkPreferred QualificationsPreferred: ASHA SLPA Certification - C-SLPAPrevious experience with Schools, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics preferredFacility LocationWith its friendly ambiance, Rocky Mountain backdrop and big city attractions, Denver is a favorite destination for travel health care professionals.
