Weekly Pay Range - $2586 To $2873 Job Title: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day 10 5x8 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Hours per Week Experience: Two (2) years in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred License: Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association - Fluoroscopy Certification - Radiation badges supplied by vendor Must-Have: - High School Diploma or equivalent Job Description: - Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. - Deliver patient care under RN supervision. - Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures. - Act as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions. - Operate imaging equipment, monitor, and document procedure images and events in the control room. - Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations. - Teach patients and families about pre and post-procedure physical conditions. - Maintain order and cleanliness of the unit. - Ensure appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures. - Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. - Accurately document productivity information. - Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. - Identify areas for improvement, including processes that can be streamlined for better patient satisfaction. - Identify and address potential safety hazards for patients and staff. - Perform other duties as assigned.
