Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior - Principal Risk Analyst to
analyze risk and develop actionable business intelligence in the
energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Power Operations Risk Management and analyze operational
reports
Provide analytical support for trading, portfolio management, and
risk assessment
Design complex valuation models for structured products and
optimize portfolio strategies
Required Qualifications
BS or MS in engineering, statistics, economics, or a related
discipline
3 - 4+ years of experience in a quantitative role within the energy
industry
Experience with Production Cost Modeling and wholesale power or gas
markets
Familiarity with risk metrics models such as Value at Risk
(VaR)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint,
Word)
