Job Summary:
The Aesthetician is responsible for providing specialized patient
care and treatments under the direction of a physician or another
healthcare provider. As a licensed Aesthetician, this individual
will perform a variety of skincare, cosmetic, and laser treatments.
He or she will provide consultation and education to patients while
ensuring safe and seamless delivery of care. The ideal candidate
must be professional in appearance and demeanor, proficient in all
treatments performed by this role, self-motivated,
detail-orientated, personable, and have excellent customer service
skills. The Aesthetician will work together with the Clinic Medical
Director on the treatment of the patient's skin primarily but not
limited to facial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform facials and enzyme peels.
Perform microneedling and dermaplaning.
Educate patients on the appropriateness of which services and/or
products they need.
Perform laser treatments including hair removal, vein treatments,
laser facials, and spot treatments.
Contributes to social media as directed.
Participates in outreach and educational events such as campus
block parties, Botox parties, resident training, etc.
Provides cross-coverage with clinic colleagues.
Accurately rooms patients, obtains & records vital signs, patient
history, and reason for seeking care.

Aurora, CO

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Four (4) years of relevant experience providing skin and cosmetic
treatments in a medical clinic setting.
Substitution: A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a
year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of
hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience as an aesthetician.
Experience within a cosmetic plastic surgery practice.
Experience educating patients on the appropriateness of which
service and/or products they need, as well as outlining any
contraindications a patient may have based on their skin, past
reactions, and medical history.
Conditions of Employment:
Aesthetician license with the State of Colorado.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by
the American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare
provider-level CPR certification.
Completion of certified laser specialist course.
Maintains all required licensures and certifications for the
position.
Maintains all required continuing education requirements.
Must be able to work in person.
Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including
physicians, leadership, and staff.
Ability to work within large, complex healthcare systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate in person, by
phone, or in writing.
Ability to interpret, communicate, and document with proper medical
terminology.
Ability to recognize/interpret the physical exam process and record
exam details.
Ability to attest to computer proficiency and learn new computer
applications.
Ability to keyboard/type, write legibly, and accurately record
information.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Strong understanding of skin structure and function.
Advanced training in pre- and post-surgical skincare and complex
chemical peels.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has
